Senior Cost Analyst

The above position exists with our client, an oil/gas company in Abu Dhabi. The main purpose of the job is to develop cost saving methodologies and provide management with analytical financial data to assist in financial decisions and capital budget preparation. The Senior Cost Analyst ensures all financial activities are performed in line with International Accounting Standards and are supported with proper documentation. His area of responsibilities includes:

• Review budget against actual performance, discuss problem areas to improve current year budget preparation.
• Ensure cost allocation is made to appropriate accounts as per the approved budget.
• Monitor and analyze operation of budgets, report variances and obtain justifications.
• Prepare periodic cost reports.

To be considered for the position, you must be a qualified Cost Accountant with 6-8 years’ relevant experience in an oil/gas related industry.

This is a Direct Hire position based in Abu Dhabi.
